We are all packed up and are shipping out to Shanghai in a couple of hours. Oh boy.
With the recent turmoil in and around Tibet our planned route is under review. Hopefully the tensions ease but if not we may be forced to change parts of intended route. No matter though, the beauty of bike touring is the freedom and flexibility. In a few short days we will be heading west with our bikes loaded and the wind at our backs, what could be better.
Thanks to everyone for their support of this trip. I am quite excited and eagerly looking forward to starting.
I hope there will be more interesting posts once we get going.

To think that I have the honor of living next door (when they are home) to these fine young adults. I will be following adventures the next 3 months.
ReplyDeleteIt is 40 degress F but 80 in my sunroom where I need to wait a month for visits from the sheep and an alpaca.
